Job summary

NRI, Inc. is seeking a Business Process Analyst to drive transformation and continuous improvement by evaluating, documenting, and optimizing organizational processes. You will partner with stakeholders and SMEs to identify opportunities and develop recommendations.

This role focuses on creating current- and future-state models, supporting strategic projects, and delivering measurable operational results through disciplined process improvement and change management.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing business processes through stakeholder discussions, workflow assessments, and data analysis.
• Identify inefficiencies, gaps, redundancies, bottlenecks, and root causes.
• Create current-state and future-state process models, workflows, and SOPs.
• Utilize Lean Six Sigma and other continuous improvement techniques for enhancements.
• Assist strategic initiatives from planning through implementation and closeout.
• Develop project schedules, milestones, action plans, dashboards, and KPIs.
• Lead or support meetings, workshops, and process reviews with SMEs.
• Assist with organizational change, adoption, and sustainment efforts.
• Monitor project activities, risks, issues, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Prepare business requirements, executive summaries, and project documentation.
• Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Manage assigned responsibilities to ensure deadlines are met.

Business Process Analyst Position Overview

The Business Process Analyst will contribute to business transformation and continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating, documenting, and optimizing organizational processes. This position will partner with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify improvement opportunities, develop recommendations, support strategic projects, and help drive measurable operational results.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing business processes using stakeholder discussions, workflow assessments, documentation reviews, and data analysis.
• Identify inefficiencies, process gaps, redundancies, bottlenecks, and underlying root causes.
• Create current-state and future-state process models, workflows, standard operating procedures, and related documentation.
• Utilize Lean Six Sigma and other continuous improvement techniques to develop effective and sustainable process enhancements.
• Assist with strategic and operational initiatives from initial planning through implementation and closeout.
• Develop project schedules, milestones, action plans, performance indicators, dashboards, and status reports.
• Lead or support meetings, workshops, process reviews, and improvement sessions with stakeholders and subject matter experts.
• Assist with organizational change, implementation, adoption, and process sustainment efforts.
• Monitor project activities, risks, issues, dependencies, deliverables, and improvement recommendations.
• Prepare business requirements, management reports, executive summaries, presentations, and other project documentation.
