Job summary

Riveron is seeking an Associate Director for M&A Integration Services to drive end-to-end integration and separation engagements across finance, operations, technology, and HR.

You will lead and mentor teams, manage budgets and timelines, develop client-ready deliverables, and partner with stakeholders to deliver actionable insights in fast-paced deal environments. 10+ years of consulting/advisory or FP&A experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant consulting/advisory or corporate FP&A, corporate development, M&A planning, management, and/or execution.
• Experience supporting integration and separation initiatives, including pre-close planning, Day 1 readiness, operating model design, deployment, and synergy tracking.
• Knowledge of change management and organizational communication during integrations; cross-functional collaboration to align milestones and deliverables.

• Lead 3–5 month client engagements with budgets and workstreams under your responsibility.

M&A Integration Services (Associate Director)

Drive end-to-end delivery of M&A integration and separation engagements, partnering with clients to solve complex business challenges across finance, operations, technology, and HR. Lead and support workstreams by analyzing financial and operational data, building models, and translating insights into actionable recommendations and client-ready deliverables. Facilitate stakeholder discussions, align cross-functional teams, and guide decision-making in fast-paced environments. Manage project timelines, budgets, and risks to ensure high-quality execution, while mentoring junior team members and contributing to firm initiatives such as training and knowledge development.

The ideal candidate brings strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis, and the ability to synthesize complex information into clear insights. They possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, experience working in M&A, consulting, or transformation environments, and a track record of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Adaptability, attention to detail, and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset are essential.

Who You Are:

• Bachelor’s in business (Finance, Accounting, Economics), Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field of study
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in consulting/advisory role or corporate FP&A, corporate development, M&A planning, management, and / or execution, sales and operations planning, distribution/logistics, or procurement/sourcing
• Experience supporting integration and separation initiatives, including pre-close planning, Day 1 readiness, operating model design and deployment, and synergy planning, validation, and tracking
• Knowledge of change management and organizational communication principles, process mapping, and communication planning during integrations
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (including but not limited to finance, HR, IT, operations, sales and marketing, product, legal, etc.) to align on integration / separation milestones, governing documentation, and other required deliverables
• Understanding of operations associated with carve-out, divestiture, and post-merger transformation programs
• Strong project management capabilities, with experience managing multiple workstreams and executive stakeholders in fast-paced deal environments
• Team-oriented mindset with a proactive and analytical approach to problem solving
• Experience with procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, and / or record-to-report processes

What You’ll Do:

• Use general business and financial acumen to advise clients and develop solutions to a variety of problems related to people, process, and technology optimization. Projects may include business process design and implementation, technology automation and enablement, finance transformation, supply chain improvement, working capital improvement, revenue and profitability analysis, and more.
• Partner directly with clients to support their needs and deliver high-quality projects (average project duration: 3-5 months)
• Lead research and analysis on a variety of financial, supply chain, operations, and accounting issues related to business process optimization
• Oversee the development of reports, presentations, and other client-facing deliverables
• Own planning of and successful delivery against project budget and workstreams
• Participate actively in the development of junior team members – both in client and internal settings – by providing coaching and performance feedback, and fostering a team-based working culture
