Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States is seeking an experienced program management professional with deep data analysis and acquisition strategy expertise to support federal government programs.

You will lead data-driven decision making, coordinate with government counterparts, and drive compliance with evolving regulations.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required.
• TS/SCI eligibility and maintenance required.
• DAWIA Practitioner Equivalency or ability to attain within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum 10 years on federal government acquisition projects.
• 10 years of software capability management within USSOCOM operations.
• 3 years in the Intelligence arena.
• 3 years supporting software‑intensive Program Management and/or DoD data management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee collecting and analyzing data for program decisions.
• Participate in collecting data requirements for acquisition programs.
• Develop elements of program acquisition strategies.
• Support and conduct portions of market research.
• Keep program information current and organized for management decisions.
• Prepare reports and briefings on program status, policies, and procedures for milestones.
• Determine requirements and develop goals to accomplish the mission.
• Support government counterparts in executing programs according to plans and regulatory changes.
• Research ways to eliminate bottlenecks and propose solutions to program issues.
• Oversee resource allocation based on program requirements.
• Analyze program effectiveness and recommend improvements.
• Answer data calls on program policies and procedures.
• Participate in requirements development for senior managers and government counterparts.
• Monitor programs for compliance with policies and procedures.
• Manage program cost, schedule, performance, and risks; formulate mitigations.
• Coordinate program information with personnel.
• Interpret regulations and directives to determine impact.
• Maintain broad understanding of the assigned acquisition program.
• Develop documentation, funding strategies, spend plans, briefs, and funding transfers.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must possess and maintain TS w/SCI eligibility
• DAWIA Practitioner Equivalency (DAWIA Level II equivalent) in Program Management, or ability to attain it within 6 months of hire
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, business, or related field
• Minimum 10 years working on federal government acquisition projects
• 10 years of software capability management expertise in USSOCOM operations
• 3 years working in the Intelligence arena
• 3 years supporting software-intensive Program Management and/or DoD data management
