Business Operations Coordinator

Bay Shore, NY

starting pay: $22/hr. and up, based on experience

The Business Operations Coordinator is responsible for creating awareness of AMR's Direct Dial Program, an urgent response EMS program. The goal of awareness is to generate emergency call volume for our emergency ground transport services supporting the Direct Dial Program.

America Medical Response of NY (AMR) is part of Global Medical Response (GMR) - the largest medical transportation company in the world. AMR delivers compassionate, quality medical care, primarily in the areas of emergency and non-emergency BLS and ALS ambulance services in the United States. AMR of NY provides unique programs to local health systems including 911, Direct Dial EMS, Catholic Health EMS and communications and training centers.

Responsibilities:

  • The Business Operations Coordinator will generate leads for new business through actions such as: cold calling, utilizing customer referrals, community involvement, collaborating with AMR leadership on marketing and recruitment programs, and participating in community networking events to draw in prospects.
  • Completing the initial stages of the sales cycle including introduction and discovery, establishing customer needs analysis and local operational capabilities, and ongoing follow up and management.
  • The Business Operations Coordinator will build a pipeline of B2C and B2B customers sufficient to achieve sales and company goals/targets.
  • Establishing a repetitive call cycle for new and long-term customers.
  • Assist as a crew member or third member with other AMR crews.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • State Driver's License
  • State EMT certification
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • Driving record in compliance with company policy
  • 1 years previous B2C or B2B solutions sales experience, preferred.
  • Emergency medical transport industry knowledge, preferred.
