Forty Acres is seeking a Business Operations Associate (BOA) to assist in operations for markets and delivery service. The BOA reports directly to the Sourcing & Fulfillment Supervisor. This role includes working with management to execute delivery service, pop up markets, and produce stands. This is a hands on position that requires the associate to roll up their sleeves for daily delivery service (loading and unloading, packing and ringing up orders, and making deliveries); market and produce stand setup and breakdown, transport of goods and other needs. Adaptability, attention to detail and adherence to instructions are the keys to success in this role. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a love of food, and passion for strengthening local food systems.
Part-time - 15-20 hours per week - primarily morning and afternoon shifts
Day to day duties include operation of company owned vehicles (inventory pickup from suppliers, customer deliveries) which requires employee to be covered under company insurance policy. Drivers license (with no record of accidents in last 5 years) is required to perform job duties.
