  • Investigate complex LCST and Defence Supply Chain integration issues, identifying root causes, gaps and practical solutions.
  • Lead deep-dive reviews and priority workstreams across LCST and, where required, the wider Defence Supply Chain.
  • Project manage Team Leidos responses to strategic initiatives and customer requirements through initial scoping and mobilisation to handover to business‑as‑usual delivery teams.
  • Review Statements of Requirement and change proposals, providing subject‑matter expertise and constructive challenge to ensure operational impacts, dependencies and delivery requirements are fully considered.
  • Contribute to logistics delivery and governance meetings, engaging, influencing and driving Team Leidos and customer stakeholders to achieve operational targets and agreed outcomes.
  • Evaluate processes, identify best practice and challenge activities or behaviours that adversely affect LCST performance, service delivery or reputation.
  • Lead the design and delivery of Directorate strategy and leadership events, translating strategic intent into clear priorities and aligned actions.
  • Coordinate Directorate operational risk management, ensuring risks are identified, assessed, recorded, managed and escalated appropriately.
  • Support the identification, development and delivery of new business opportunities and selected growth projects, ensuring proposals are operationally credible and aligned with Directorate and wider business priorities.
  • Manage delivery of the Operations Directorate Cognitive Command Centre capability to Full Operational Capability, maximising its value for stakeholder engagement and support during periods of surge activity.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role encompassing:
  • Supply chain, logistics and/or operations
  • Stakeholder engagement and Customer Relationship Management
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills with a proven ability to influence
  • Solving complex problems across multiple stakeholder organisations

Possess a UK driving license and prepared to travel within the UK.

Desirable competencies include:

  • Professional qualification in business administration, logistics, or operations at Degree level, or equivalent in experience
  • Demonstrable understanding of UK Defence supply chain and LCST systems and processes
  • Established relationships within the UK Defence logistics community
