This fully remote opportunity is ideal for an analytical, solutions-oriented professional who enjoys building relationships, influencing business decisions, and making a measurable impact on the success of eye care practices.

Accountabilities

  • Business performance assessment: Conduct initial assessments of member businesses and optometric practices, reviewing profit and loss statements to evaluate financial health, identify performance gaps, and uncover opportunities for growth and profitability.

  • Financial and operational analysis: Analyze key financial and operational metrics, identify trends and inefficiencies, and develop data-driven insights to support informed business decisions and improved practice performance.

  • Strategic business consulting: Leverage broad expertise in practice management, optical operations, staffing, marketing, and revenue cycle management to provide high-level guidance and recommend targeted improvement strategies.

  • Reporting and benchmarking: Prepare clear dashboards, reports, and performance summaries that highlight critical business indicators and compare practice results against relevant industry benchmarks.

  • Education and knowledge sharing: Develop and deliver training sessions, facilitate webinars, and create educational content on general business management and operational improvement topics.

  • Continuous improvement: Research emerging business needs, identify recurring challenges, and contribute insights and recommendations that strengthen service delivery and enhance the overall member experience.

Requirements

  • Solid business acumen and experience supporting strategic planning, defining improvement opportunities, and measuring business outcomes.

  • Excellent verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to facilitate discussions, deliver training, and communicate complex findings clearly to different audiences.

  • Proven ability to build collaborative relationships, motivate stakeholders, influence decisions, and drive results without direct authority.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple business needs while delivering timely, relevant recommendations.

  • Comfort working in a remote environment, with a high level of engagement in virtual meetings, including maintaining camera presence when required to support effective communication and team alignment.

Benefits
