Twilight Gardens, located in Norwalk, OH, is seeking an energetic, responsible, and motivated professional to join our leadership team as our Business Office Manager (BOM).
This position requires Long-Term Care experience and insurance verification/billing experience.
The Business Office Manager plays a key role in the financial and administrative operations of our skilled nursing facility, working closely with residents, families, facility leadership, government agencies, insurance companies, and corporate support teams.
Manage resident billing, accounts receivable, and collections
Complete insurance verification and assist with billing processes
Maintain accurate resident financial records and accounts
Manage resident trust accounts
Complete month-end reporting and account reconciliation
Work with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance payers
Communicate professionally with residents and families regarding billing and account questions
Maintain accurate documentation and business office records
Implement and consistently administer company programs, policies, and procedures
Collaborate with facility leadership and corporate departments to support smooth business operations
Long-Term Care experience required
Insurance verification and billing experience required
2–3 years of Business Office Manager/Director experience in skilled nursing preferred
Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance
Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills
Ability to effectively work with residents, families, staff, government agencies, and insurance companies
Proficiency with Microsoft applications, including Word and Excel
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Ability to implement and consistently administer programs, policies, and procedures
