Our Ely Carefree Living community is seeking an organized, motivated, and detail-oriented Business Office Manager to join our growing Assisted Living community. Schedule:
Monday-Friday, full-time
Additional hours as needed to support community operations
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain resident billing, statements, authorizations, and business office functions
- Complete and maintain census reports while ensuring accuracy of resident information
- Coordinate resident billing processes, collections, and payer authorizations
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and new hire compliance
- Coordinate interviewing and hiring activities for direct care staff
- Create and maintain weekly staff schedules
- Review, edit, and verify employee timecards for payroll processing
- Provide leadership and support to office staff while promoting teamwork and accountability
- Maintain resident confidentiality and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, county case managers, referral sources, and community partners
- Support quality improvement initiatives and operational goals
- Participate in leadership meetings and assist with special projects and community events
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, employees, and visitors
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Executive Director
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of two years of business office or administrative experience; healthcare experience preferred
- Business, Accounting, Human Resources, or related education preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience with scheduling, payroll, billing, or office management preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multiple departments
