The Business Office Director assists the Executive Director in ensuring that the functional areas required to operate the community are effectively supported. Primary responsibilities include managing and overseeing the accounting and general bookkeeping functions of the community, along with supporting day-to-day administrative and business office operations.
This is also a front-desk-based position and a highly visible role within our community. The Business Office Director is often one of the first faces our residents, families, visitors, applicants, and team members see and plays an important role in creating a warm and welcoming environment.
Our community is busy, active, and fast-paced, so we are looking for a true master multi-tasker who can confidently balance business office responsibilities, front desk duties, phone calls, visitors, resident and family needs, employee questions, and the many unexpected things that can come up throughout the day.
The ideal candidate is a genuine people person who enjoys interacting with others, is exceptionally organized and detail-oriented, and can successfully manage multiple priorities while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
This is not a traditional behind-the-scenes business office position. Our Business Office Director is an important part of the daily heartbeat of our community and works closely with residents, families, employees, department directors, and the Executive Director.

Strong computer, typing, and general office skills
The ability to work effectively as part of a leadership team
Dependability, flexibility, and a willingness to jump in and help when needed
The ability to remain calm, friendly, and organized—even on our busiest days
If you love people, thrive in a busy environment, enjoy staying organized, and can juggle several things at once while still greeting someone with a smile, we would love to meet you!
Potential for exposure to blood/body fluids not likely.
Incumbent will sit for extended periods of time.
Lift between 1–20 pounds occasionally.
Walk throughout the community as needed.

Exceptional communication, customer service, and conflict-resolution skills. Strong typing, computer, organizational, and time-management skills. The successful candidate will be able to shift priorities as needed while maintaining accuracy, organization, confidentiality, and a positive attitude.
