Val Strough Cypress Coast Automotive Group is seeking an Office Clerk to support the office manager with data entry, records, and daily clerical tasks. The role involves posting data, compiling reports, handling receipts, greeting visitors and assisting customers and staff.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 months of related experience, plus good reading, writing and communication skills. The position is on-site at our Seaside, CA location.

Education And/or Experience
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
