Job summary

Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a dedicated Business Office Assistant at the Metropolis location. You will support the Business Office Manager and oversee daily business office activities in line with applicable guidelines, ensuring accurate processing of insurance payments.

You will maintain logs and reports for resident funds, census, and accounts, while communicating effectively with residents, families, staff, physicians, and agencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in business office operations in LTC/SNF/AL/MC preferred.
• Effective communication with residents, families, staff, physicians, and agencies.

Responsibilities

• Support the Business Office Manager and oversee business office activities per federal, state, and local guidelines.
• Coordinate with the Business Office Manager on insurance payments (private, Medicare, Medicaid, and other managed care).
• Manage refunds for accounts receivable and maintain logs and reports (resident funds, census records, case accounts).
