Job summary

JASINT Consulting and Technologies, LLC seeks a Business Object Designer and System Support to leverage reporting and data visualization tools for insightful decision support. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of insights from complex data sets.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP Business Objects, Cognos, SQL and multiple BI tools, plus the ability to translate data into accessible visuals for diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years with Business Objects Universe, Row Level Security and account administration.
• 5+ years with developing and managing reporting tools (Business Objects, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Cognos).
• Proven experience as Data Analyst or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in SAP BO and Cognos for report creation.

Responsibilities

• Utilize reporting tools to create comprehensive reports for stakeholders.
• Analyze data sets to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop dashboards using Tableau, Power BI and Qlik Sense.
• Translate complex data into visualizations for technical and non-technical audiences.

Job Title: Business Object Designer and System Support

Hours: Regular Full-Time

Clearance Requirements:

This position requires an active Secret Clearance

What you will be doing:

Will be responsible for leveraging your expertise in reporting and data visualization tools to extract meaningful insights from our data sets. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of insights that support strategic decision-making.

Reporting and Analysis:

• Utilize reporting tools such as SAP Business Objects and Cognos to create comprehensive reports for stakeholders.
• Analyze data sets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop visually appealing and informative dashboards using Tableau, Power BI and Qlik Sense.
• Translate complex data sets into easily understandable visualizations for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Position Requirements:

• 5+ years of Business Objects Universe, Row Level Security and account administration.
• 5 + years with developing and managing reporting tools, specifically, Business Objects, Power BI, Tableau, SQL and COGNOS.
• Proven experience in a Data Analyst or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in reporting tools such as SAP Business Objects and Cognos. Report creation to extract data from personnel systems. Transition/migrate said reports to designated platform.
• Strong proficiency in SQL.
• Strong proficiency and experience with data visualization tools, including Power BI & Tableau.
• Experience with ETL is a plus
• Qlik/Databricks is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Specialized knowledge of the data relation associated with processing Federal Personnel Actions as defined in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Guide for Processing Personnel Actions (GPPA).

Physical Demands

This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. The ability to move files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand as necessary would be required.
