We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales and Marketing Specialist to join our small, community-focused online news company. This role is ideal for someone passionate about digital sales and marketing who wants to contribute to a community-driven media platform.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategies, setting goals and quotas to increase subscriptions, advertising, brand awareness, generate leads, and boost revenue, while fostering relationships with local businesses and organizations. As part of a close-knit team, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's success.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies, including digital marketing campaigns across social media, email, website, etc., to attract and retain local readers, businesses, and advertisers.
• Conduct market research to identify new growth opportunities within the community.
• Coordinate with the editorial team to promote content and events aligned with local interests.
• Track and analyze marketing and sales performance metrics, report on ROI, and adjust strategies as needed.
