Summary

This position is located at Bingo which is part of the Fort Benning Family & Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR).

Eligibility

This job is open to U.S. Citizens, Nationals or those who owe allegiance to the U.S. United States (U.S.) Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. or U.S. territory for three (3) or more continuous years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation.

Duties
  • Manages a large business activity. Formulates instructions and directives necessary to operate a fluid, profit generating business activity with a fluctuating customer base.
  • Represents the activity at conferences, to special interest groups and other agencies. Coordinates functions with community, and military representatives. As a second level supervisor reviews the actions of subordinate supervisors.
  • Conducts management review of patron programs to identify problems and initiate appropriate corrective measures.
  • Evaluates the success of programs in terms of profitability, customer satisfaction and mission accomplishment. Reviews financial reports, estimates projected costs, develops activity financial plan.
  • Monitors the procurement of all supplies and equipment for the activity.
Requirements
  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one-year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.

  • Work hours may involve weekend, weekdays, holidays and night duty.

  • Required to file a Confidential Statement of Affiliations and Financial Interest in accordance with requirements of DODD 5500.7 Joint Ethics Regulation.

  • Work experience managing or directing the activities of the Bingo or gaming operation to be managed.

A Qualified Candidate Must Possess The Following

  • Possess a minimum of three (3) years of experience in a supervisory or program manager role of a NAF business operation, including responsibility for budgeting, financial performance, personnel management, operational planning, and achievement of established revenue and expense goals.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Bingo or gaming operations with responsibility for internal controls, cash accountability, sales reconciliation, prize payouts, and/or gaming inventory accountability.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally through written correspondence and oral communication.
Education

  • This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
