Responsibilities

RSi is looking to fill a Business Manager position to support our NASAcustomer on the Marshall Engineering Technicians and Trades Support contract (METTS). This position supports the General Manager and contract leadership by organizing, directing, and controlling the activities associated with the program cost and schedule performance reporting, budgeting, and asset management. Manages the accounting and administration functions. Maintains cost control and cost reporting and interfaces with the Government and Corporate Office on business and cost issues. Responsible for ensuring only qualified personnel are utilized in conducting work pertaining to resource activities under this contract, such as but not limited to contract such as, but not limited to, purchasing, training, travel, and human resources.

Summary of duties include but are not limited to:

• Manage contract financial performance, budgets, forecasts, and cost analysis.
• Prepare and review NASA 533, monthly cost reports, and other required financial deliverables.
• Monitor actual costs, commitments, funding, and estimates to complete.
• Perform financial reconciliations and resolve reporting discrepancies.
• Develop management reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
• Provide financial and business analysis to the Program Manager and senior leadership.
• Coordinate with NASA representatives, finance, accounting, subcontractors, and Joint Venture partners.
• Support contract compliance, audits, and internal controls.

• Provide financial oversight of procurement commitments and invoice activity as needed.

Required Minimum Education/Experience/Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and financial reporting experience
• Five or more years of experience managing cost type contracts with ten or more work breakdown structure (WBS) elements.

Preferred Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/IT Skills/Certifications:

• Ten to twelve years of experience in business management or related field
• Graduate studies in related field of study
• Experience with NASA financial reporting
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
• Advanced Excel and data-analysis skills; Power BI experience

The work of this position is performed primarily in an office environment

This position may require occasional overtime and may include second or third shift support for 24/7 onsite or on-call support based on customer needs and contract requirements.

All positions supporting the METTS III contract are contingent upon successful completion of NASA medical screenings at the beginning of employment and annually thereafter. The need for these screenings is determined based on the outcomes of the Safety, Health, and Environmental Job Assessment Questionnaire.

Must meet eligibility for a Public Trust background investigation for government issues credentials and IT access/applicants must be able to pass a security background check per Redstone Arsenal/MSFC requirements.
