The Business Manager is a senior-level professional who directs the finance and human resources departments of the district, planning, directing and coordinating the activities, staffing, policies, and programs. Position functions include oversight of district accounting procedures, budget preparation, finance reporting, monitoring of district bonds, collective bargaining, employee relations, regulatory compliance, and policy/procedure development.
1.Bachelor’s degree in business/accounting
2.Experience with accounting, budget oversight, coordinating an internal audit, and monitoring grants.
3.Criminal history clearance (background check and HB 2062)
1.Government accounting experience, preferably in a public-school setting
Twelve-month position (258 days) at 1.0 FTE. Salary dependent on experience ($110,000 - $135,000 annually) and excellent benefits including Medical, Dental and Vision insurance and Oregon state retirement (PERS).Paid time off includes fifteen sick days, three personal days, and negotiated vacation days.
