Job summary

Seaside School District 10 is seeking a Business Manager (1.0 FTE) to lead the finance and human resources departments, directing budgeting, accounting procedures, and financial reporting for the district. The role reports to the Superintendent and collaborates with administrators to ensure compliant, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business/accounting.
• Experience with accounting, budget oversight, coordinating an internal audit, and monitoring grants.
• Criminal history clearance (background check and HB 2062).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide direction for the Business Office personnel ( payroll, accounting, human resources) and provide annual written evaluations.
• Manage screening, hiring, and assignment of Business Office personnel as directed.
• Provide team oriented supervision and leadership for development of Business Office staff.
• Supervise daily, monthly and annual accounting and financial functions of all district funds and reporting procedures; maintain records with supporting material.
• Prepare analysis of program costs and methods of financing, including long range projections.
