Qualifications

• Texas license to practice law with active status.
• Experience in business, commercial, or complex civil litigation.
• Substantial trial experience through discovery, hearings, and trial.
• Exceptional legal writing and research skills.
• Ability to independently manage complex litigation from inception through trial.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage business and commercial litigation from inception through trial.
• Develop and execute effective litigation strategies.
• Conduct depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Draft persuasive pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other filings.
• Conduct thorough legal research and apply relevant law to complex facts.
• Analyze contracts, business records, financial documents, and other evidence.
• Prepare witnesses, exhibits, and evidence for hearings and trial.
• Communicate case strategy, developments, and risks to clients.
• Work collaboratively with attorneys and litigation staff while owning assigned matters.
• Manage case deadlines, discovery, court filings, and other litigation requirements.
