Orion Placement in San Antonio, TX, seeks an experienced business litigation attorney to handle a mix of litigation, transactions, and outside general counsel work for business clients. With a 6 billable hour per day expectation, you will advise, draft contracts, and guide clients through disputes, negotiations, and settlements.

The role offers a true work-life balance with bonuses and clear career advancement to Senior Lawyer, Senior Counsel, and Partner.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of business/commercial litigation experience.
• Experience managing litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Business transactional and contract drafting experience preferred.
• Strong legal writing, communication, and client counseling skills.
• Law firm experience required.

Responsabilités

• Represent business clients in litigation matters from initial pleadings through resolution.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other business documents.
• Advise on entity formation, governance, licensing, and operational legal matters.
• Manage pre-litigation disputes, demand letters, negotiations, and commercial conflicts.
• Appear in court, conduct hearings, negotiate settlements, and manage cases to completion.
• Build trusted client relationships while providing strategic legal guidance.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding case strategy and progress.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff to deliver exceptional client service.
• Maintain organized case files and timely documentation.
• Participate in prospective client consultations and business development efforts.

Note: Applicants must be licensed to practice law in Texas and have 4+ years of business/commercial litigation experience. Candidates from in-house legal departments or primarily solo practices will not be considered.
