Job summary

The University of Nevada, Reno seeks a Business Librarian to serve as liaison to the College of Business, the Department of Criminal Justice, and the Judicial Studies program. This full-time tenure-track position focuses on information literacy, research support, and collection development for business-related disciplines on campus.

The candidate will design curriculum-integrated instruction, provide research consultations, and contribute to outreach and scholarly communications.

Qualifications

• ALA-accredited MLS or equivalent.
• Two years of experience in a library or instruction setting or an advanced degree in one of the liaison areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-depth research consultations regarding business resources such as investment and financial data and market research.
• Design and conduct curriculum-integrated instructional sessions in liaison areas, in person and online.
• Create and maintain library guides and effective online instructional materials.
• Maintain familiarity with trends in research and teaching related to business liaison areas.
• Oversee library collections and respond to faculty and student requests for materials.
• Engage in outreach, assessment, and scholarly communications support.
