Position Summary

As a member of the Advancement Services, Solutions team, the Business Intelligence Supervisor will utilize business expertise with data rules and extensions to support University Advancement's strategic objectives. Responsibilities include building consistent and accurate reports and dashboards using BI technologies such as Cognos, Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce, etc. The group supports fundraising and alumni relations by analyzing financial and engagement data to develop strategies.

Minimum Requirements

Equivalent to a four-year degree and 3-5 years of related IT experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, or related field
• 5+ years experience with SQL and stored procedures
• Experience managing data acquisition, organization, and reporting in BI tools
• Project management skills and ability to present solutions in business terms
• Proficiency with software like R, SQL, data query tools
• 2+ years leveraging data analysis for business impact
• Proficiency in MS Office tools
• Strong communication, collaboration, and database querying skills
• Master’s degree preferred; familiarity with Kindsight’s ascend tool is a plus
