Addison Group is seeking a Business Intelligence Manager for a fully remote role. The position bridges data analytics, technology, and financial strategy, turning complex data into actionable insights and strengthening reporting capabilities.

The ideal candidate will have Power BI, SQL, and Azure expertise, and collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to shape the organization’s BI capabilities. Certification in PL-300 is preferred.

About The Opportunity

We’re partnering with an established hospitality management organization seeking a Business Intelligence Manager to bridge data analytics, technology, and financial strategy. This is a hands‑on role for someone who can turn complex data into actionable business insights, strengthen reporting capabilities, and support strategic decision‑making across the organization.

The ideal candidate brings a strong technical foundation in Power BI, SQL, and Azure, along with the ability to collaborate with finance and business stakeholders. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a growing analytics function while helping shape the organization’s business intelligence capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support business and financial decision‑making.
• Leverage SQL and Azure to access, analyze, and manage data from multiple sources.
• Translate business requirements into actionable insights and reporting solutions.
• Partner with finance, data, and business stakeholders to improve reporting accuracy and accessibility.
• Support financial planning and analysis through data‑driven insights, performance reporting, and analytics.
• Evaluate and optimize existing BI tools, processes, and reporting infrastructure.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the organization’s data and analytics capabilities.

Qualifications

• Approximately 5+ years of relevant experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Power BI, SQL, and Azure.
• Experience with Tabular Editor.
• Power BI PL-300 certification or a comparable certification.
• Ability to translate technical data into meaningful business insights.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to partner with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• A blend of technical BI expertise and financial analysis experience is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the hospitality industry.
• Background in FP&A, financial reporting, or business performance analytics.
• Experience with Tableau.
• Previous experience taking ownership of BI initiatives or guiding analytics strategy.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $125,000–$150,000, depending on experience.
• Work Arrangement: Fully remote.
• Paid Leave: 15 days of personal leave starting at hire.
• Health Insurance: Coverage begins on Day 1.

Interview Process

The interview process includes approximately four virtual conversations with leadership and the data team, followed by a company-sponsored onsite visit in Fairfax, Virginia, for a final meet‑and‑greet.
