Job summary

Sammons Industrial, Inc. is hiring a Business Intelligence Engineer in a hybrid Dallas, TX role. You will design and optimize data pipelines, build trusted data models, and enable analytics across business units.

You will work with SQL, Python, Power BI, and Fabric to deliver robust data products, improve data quality, and support AI-enabled analytics. Collaboration with IT and analytics teams is essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in data engineering, BI engineering, or related field.
• Experience with Fabric pipelines, Lakehouse, Bronze/Silver layers, and OneLake.

Responsibilities

• Own and strengthen our data foundation.
• Design, build, and maintain Microsoft Fabric pipelines, notebooks, Lakehouse and Warehouse solutions, and Bronze and Silver data layers using medallion architecture.
• Turn complex data into trusted insights using SQL, Python, and dimensional modeling to support Power BI semantic models.
• Proactively monitor data processes, investigate issues, and maintain dependable solutions through testing, documentation, source control, and DevOps practices.
• Partner with IT, Reporting & Analytics, and business teams to improve data quality and prepare trusted data for advanced analytics, automation, and AI.

Partner with IT, Reporting & Analytics, and business teams to improve data quality, strengthen engineering practices, and prepare trusted data for advanced analytics, automation, and AI.What You’ll BringProven hands-on data engineering experience. 3–5 years in data engineering, BI engineering, or a related field, with the confidence to independently build, troubleshoot, and manage production data solutions. We value demonstrated ability and real-world experience over a specific degree.Strong Microsoft Fabric expertise. Practical experience with Fabric pipelines, notebooks, Lakehouse, Warehouse, OneLake, and medallion architecture, including independent ownership of Bronze and Silver layers.The technical skills to solve tough problems. Advanced SQL, working proficiency in Python, experience with data transformations, dimensional modeling, Power BI, and Git-based source control or DevOps practices. Experience with Spark/PySpark, CI/CD, or AI-enabled data solutions is a plus.A dependable, collaborative mindset.
