Reporting to the Manager, Enterprise Analytics, the Analytics Developer contributes to the development, enhancement, and support of Albany’s enterprise analytics ecosystem, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft technologies. This role works within an established architecture to deliver and optimize Microsoft-based analytics solutions, leveraging SAP as the primary enterprise data source, particularly from the SAP S/4HANA platform.
The role supports ongoing modernization initiatives through the adoption of Microsoft’s analytics stack, including Microsoft Fabric and Azure-based services, helping to integrate SAP data into a scalable, governed, and high-performing data platform. While SAP remains the core system of record, this position focuses on building and maintaining data pipelines, models, and reporting solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem, with occasional use of third-party tools as required.
Additionally, the developer applies established standards, architectural patterns, and governance practices to ensure consistency, quality, and alignment with Albany’s analytics strategy and evolving business needs, while collaborating closely with team members, architects, and stakeholders to deliver effective data and analytics solutions.
