Job summary

Virgin Hotels Las Vegas is seeking an on‑site BI Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions that support analytics, financial analysis, and strategic decision‑making. This role partners with IT, Finance, and Operations to deliver accurate, high‑performance data assets across the organization.

You will develop ETL pipelines with SSIS, optimize SQL queries, and contribute to data warehousing efforts using Power BI and Tableau.

Qualifications

• Current, legal, and unrestricted ability to work in the United States.
• 3+ years of experience in BI, analytics, or data development.
• Advanced SQL expertise required.
• Experience with ETL development (SSIS preferred).
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau

Responsibilities

The Business Intelligence (BI) Developer is an onsite/non-remote role that will design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions that support operational performance, financial analysis, and strategic decision-making across the organization. This role partners with IT, Finance, and Operations to deliver accurate, reliable, and high-performance data assets.

Requirements

THE NITTY-GRITTY (The Essential Job Duties)

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions for analytics and reporting
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines using SSIS
• Integrate and reconcile data across Agilysys LMS, IGT Advantage, and other systems
• Contribute to data warehouse design including dimensional modeling

WHAT IT TAKES (The Qualities We Look For)

• Advanc ed SQL expertise including query optimization and execution plans
• Experience with SQL Server; DB2 preferred
• Strong data modeling and relational design skills
• Hands-on ETL experience using SSIS
• Data warehousing experience (star schema, fact/dimension modeling)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

MUST HAVE'S

WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE'S

• Experience with Agilysys LMS and/or IGT Advantage preferred
• At least two years of development experience preferably in a high volume, complex casino environment
• Bachelors' Degree in Computer Science, Data Science or a related field
