Job summary

Mindfore Technologies is seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to design and implement reporting tools and data pipelines onsite in Tallahassee, FL. The role requires expertise in SQL, SSAS, SSIS, and OLAP to support enterprise-wide decision making and KPI reporting.

The candidate should be proficient in data modeling, requirements analysis, and creating ad-hoc reports, with strong collaboration skills for reviews and documentation. Local residency in Florida is expected.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience managing database structures and design.
• Five years documenting experience maintaining centralized data reporting infrastructure for enterprise-wide decision support.
• Five years writing relational and OLAP queries using SQL.
• Five years working with SSAS and SSIS or similar.
• Five years performing requirements analysis and generating ad-hoc reports.
• Five years conducting technical specifications reviews and providing guidance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and submit reporting tools and data management routines that populate centralized datasets used for reporting based on functional specifications.
• Evaluate and submit business requirements and determine KPIs to be evaluated by the Department to establish priority.
• Analyze and submit business requirements for KPIs identified by the Department and develop report specifications using Microsoft Office tools.
• Facilitate specification reviews with business analysts and team managers as assigned by the Department.
• Ensure a defined agenda is communicated to participants and provide clear summaries of discussions and decisions in oral and written form.
• Complete required training as assigned by the Department.

• A minimum of Five years of documented experience managing database structures and design.
• A minimum of Five years documented experience maintaining centralized data reporting infrastructure for the purposes of enterprise-wide decision support.
• A minimum of Five years writing relational and Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) database queries using SQL.
• A minimum of Five years working with SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or similar.
• A minimum of Five years performing requirements analysis and generating ad-hoc reports.
• A minimum of Five years conducting technical specifications reviews and providing guidance and feedback.

Responsibilities

SERVICE TASKS

• Design, develop, and submit reporting tools and data management routines that populate centralized datasets used for reporting based on functional specifications. Reporting tools will provide access to key performance indicators identified by the Department as a priority, Clinical Quality Measures established by the National Quality Forum and Federal Electronic Health Record (EHR) Meaningful Use Objectives as assigned by the Department.
• Evaluate and submit business requirements and determine key performance indicators to be evaluated by the Department to establish priority as assigned by the Department.
• Analyze and submit business requirements for key performance indicators identified by the Department as a priority, Clinical Quality Measures established by the National Quality Forum and Federal EHR Meaningful Use Objectives. Use the business requirements to develop report specifications utilizing Microsoft Office tools. Successful task execution produces specifications that capture the goals of the defined business requirements as directed by the Department.
• Facilitate specification reviews with business analysts and team managers as assigned by the Department.
• Ensure a defined agenda is communicated to participants, provide a common understanding of terms and definitions, synthesize ideas, track discussions and provide clear summaries of the discussion and decisions in oral and written form.
• Complete job required training as assigned by the Department. Completion verification may include certificates, sign-in sheets or verification via the Department's Learning Management System.
