Job summary

Mission Wealth is seeking a growth-minded Business Intelligence Analyst in San Diego to turn business questions into metrics, dashboards and self-service analytics for advisors, operators, and leadership. You will sit at the intersection of the business and our data platform, gathering requirements, defining what numbers mean, and ensuring reporting is accurate, consistent, and easy to use.

This role partners with Data & Analytics, Operations, Finance, M&A, and Advisor teams to standardize

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a business/data analytics or reporting-focused role
• Hands-on experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar to build dashboards from business requirements
• Strong SQL skills for querying, validating, and shaping analytics-ready data
• Experience with Snowflake or a similar cloud data warehouse
• Salesforce reporting/CRM Analytics experience preferred
• Experience in financial services, particularly wealth management or RIAs, is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
• Familiarity with data governance, metric documentation, and source-of-truth practices

Responsibilities

• Define, document, and standardize metrics and KPIs across the firm
• Maintain a governed metric catalog with clear definitions and calculation logic
• Reconcile conflicting reports by establishing a single source of truth
• Document data sources, assumptions, and limitations for transparency
• Translate requirements into dashboards using BI tools (Tableau/Power BI)
• Write and optimize SQL against Snowflake for analytics-ready datasets
• Deliver recurring KPI, operational, and executive reporting
• Partner with Data & Analytics to create LLM-ready datasets
• Enable self-service reporting and raise data literacy across the firm
