Job Title: Business Intelligence Analyst
Pay Rate: $40/hr
Location: (On-site/Remote/Hybrid) Remote
Employment: 6 Month Contract

Job Description:

The Enterprise Analytics team's mission is to bring confidence to decisions made across the company, at every level, using data and analytics. We support business decision-making, opportunity sizing, marketing spend & risk management. We play an integral part providing performance data for the company.

As an experienced analytics practitioner, you will help to provide the performance data, information and insights that informs our internal customers' investment, resourcing & rollout decisions. You will proactively uncover insights and unlock opportunities that influence our partners' roadmap. You will define and monitor the metrics that best measure the business impact of our customer experience. You'll enable partners to get informed by building reporting & supporting data pulls and will empower partners to keep informed by enabling self-service of this information.

This role is on a high-visibility Data + Analytics team and will be involved in impactful projects on day 1. This role reports to the Sr Manager of Enterprise Analytics.

  • Support the data + analytics needs for partners across multiple orgs (Merch, Marketing, Client Experience & Support, etc)
  • Design, develop, & deliver reporting to partners and build self-service capabilities on their behalf
  • Partner with Product Data Scientists to help craft the right solution - balancing immediate/long-term needs against effort & impact
  • Develop strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders in Finance, Data Science, Merchandising, Operations and across the company
  • Guide partner roadmap plans & investments through opportunity sizing & decision support
  • Be part of a collaborative team which has high visibility across the organization

Experience:

  • Strong experience partnering with product managers and/or business stakeholders for decision making using data + analytics
  • 3-5+ years in analytics role
  • Exceptional Analytics skills in SQL or Python (advanced Excel considered)
  • 2+ years of experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau, PowerBI) and associated dashboard and visualization best practices
  • Able to build, maintain and optimize data pipelines using best practices.
  • Communication skills that help simplify complex problems for cross-functional business partners
  • Prioritization skills with business impact in mind and ability to be pragmatic where appropriate
  • Have intellectual curiosity and are an experienced learner and are skilled in asking questions; previous domain expertise is not expected but building an expertise will be required
  • Are passionate about technology and relish the opportunity to learn and apply new technical concepts to your work
  • Experience in working autonomously and taking ownership of projects.

Preferred qualifications

  • Degree in a business or quantitative field (e.g., business, economics, mathematics, statistics, computer science)
  • Experience working with GitHub for version control, collaboration, and tracking code changes effectively.
