Description
The Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS) seeks to promote the health, resilience, and independence of all individuals, families, and communities throughout Massachusetts. As one of the largest secretariat level agencies in Massachusetts state government, EOHHS serves nearly one in every three Massachusetts residents – including some of our most vulnerable children, youth, adults, and elders. EOHHS is comprised of 11 member agencies and the MassHealth program. This includes the Department of Children and Families (DCF) whose primary mission is to protect children from abuse and neglect. We do everything possible to keep children in our child welfare system safe. To this end, DCF provides a comprehensive array of services to children and families through a statewide network of 30+ DCF-staff offices in conjunction with community-based providers and informal resources.
The Business Intelligence Analyst supports child welfare programs through high-quality data, reporting, and insights. The position plays a critical role in ensuring that data is accurate, accessible, and effectively used across the Department of Children and Families and other EOHHS agencies. The incumbent will collaborate with other stakeholders at DCF.
This individual will report to the IT Manager - Reports & Data Integration for the Department of Children and Families and collaborate with other stakeholders at DCF.
The primary work location for this role will be One Ashburton Place, Boston, Massachusetts, 02108. The work schedule for this position isMonday through Friday, 9:00AM to 5:00PM EST. This position is expected to follow a hybrid model of reporting to work that combines in-office workdays and work from home days.

Minimum Entrance Requirements:
Applicants must have (A) at least three (3) years of full-time or equivalent part-time professional or practical experience in the field of information technology application development and support, or (B) any equivalent combination of the required experience and the substitutions below.

Salary placement is determined by a combination of factors, including the candidate’s years of directly related experience and education, and alignment with our internal compensation structure as set forth by the Human Resources Division’s Hiring Guidelines. For all bargaining unit positions (non-management), compensation is subject to the salary provisions outlined in the applicable collective bargaining agreement and will apply to placement within the appropriate salary range.
