Job summary

ViziRecruiter, LLC. seeks a Business Integration Analyst to design and implement integration solutions connecting ERP, CRM, and other platforms across IT systems.

You translate business requirements into technical specs and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flows. You will configure Boomi APIs, review JSON outputs, support testing, and produce artifacts like process maps and test cases.

Qualifications

• Boomi API knowledge including GET, POST, PATCH, DELETE and JSON comparison.
• Experience with ERP systems, especially JDE EnterpriseOne.
• Familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Cherwell, Atlassian).
• Strong MS Office skills for creating presentations, reports, and docs.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications with traceable artifacts.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Produces artifacts to support the SDLC: specifications, process maps, mockups and test cases.
• Provides root cause analysis and suggests solutions for moderate problems.
• Resolves issues or escalates risk to senior analysts or management.

• Supports QA with unit and regression testing as needed.
• Notes opportunities for improvements and communicates them to senior staff.

Working under the supervision of IT Manager or Director, referring significant problems and issues for management review or approval, a Business Integration Analyst develops or revises technical integration with various platforms external to the core systems at Connection. Works with customers and/or suppliers in support of new or revised systems, API, cXML integrations, as well as internal customers and stakeholders. Works closely, when necessary, with the applications and platform development teams, product management, and applications support for testing or debugging API processes for both internal and external customers and suppliers.

Responsibilities may include understanding and converting business requirements into functional specifications for the development team to develop against. Documenting specifications including quality assurance steps to be followed by the development engineer and QA Analyst.

• Supports the Quality Assurance team as required for unit and/or regression testing.
• May work with customers in support of systems integrations.
• Notes opportunities for application, platform, and business process improvements for both internal and external customers and communicates them to senior-level people.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge and experience working with Boomi APIs (GET, POST, PATCH, DELETE) and comparing JSON output to underlying relational databases.
• Ability to present solutions to senior level analysts or managers.
• Experience with ERP systems (JDE EnterpriseOne preferred).
• Some knowledge of ITSM Solutions including ServiceNow, Cherwell, Atlassian, etc.
• Solid Microsoft Office skills for creating presentations, spreadsheets and other documents.
• Understanding of business processes in a distribution business environment.
• Working knowledge of software bug tracking/reporting best practices and tools.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Good organizational skills with ability to document activities, anticipate problems, plan schedules and monitor performance according to priorities and deadlines.
• Self-starter with the ability to manage several small projects in parallel.
• Some experience in working with business customers as well as application developers.

Additional preferred competencies or preferred qualifications, if any:

• Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and SaaS-based business applications.
• Prior experience in supply chain, finance, or e-commerce integration projects.
• Adaptable with ability to switch tasks based on shifting priorities.
• Practical experience in Technology Resell, B2B, or eCommerce industry.
