Job summary

Umpqua Community College invites qualified educators to join a dynamic Business Department as a full-time Business Instructor. You will teach college-level business and accounting courses, develop engaging learning experiences, and help students connect theory with real-world practice to advance their academic and career goals.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Management, or Marketing from a regionally accredited institution; OR a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Management, or Marketing from a regionally accredited institution AND a CPA or CMA credential.
• Three or more years of relevant professional experience in business, accounting, finance, or related field.
• Demonstrated teaching experience with instructional effectiveness.
• Ability to work on campus and in-person/online modalities.

Responsibilities

• Teach college-level business and accounting courses using appropriate methodologies.
• Develop engaging learning experiences and apply real-world business practices.
• Collaborate with faculty on curriculum and program development.
• Maintain and post office hours and participate in professional growth activities.
