Job Description

We are seeking a Business Insights Analytics Specialist focusing on data science and analytics to join our team!

This role will collaborate with the Human Health Digital, Data and Analytics (HHDDA) area to utilize data for generating actionable insights that enhance customer and market understanding, inform brand strategies, support in-line brand growth, and improve customer engagement. The candidate will facilitate the creation of commercial use cases that promote data-driven decisions, leveraging organizational knowledge to better serve customers.

The ideal candidate will possess an entrepreneurial spirit, a strong understanding of healthcare and technology, and a proven track record of generating actionable insights from analytics. They must effectively manage ambiguity and demonstrate strong partnership skills. Responsibilities include providing integrated insights to stakeholders, collaborating to identify and define business questions, and supporting cross-functional teams in designing scalable solutions that align with business priorities.

The Specialist should possess strong presentation skills, effectively communicating complex methodologies, insights, and results to stakeholders in a concise manner.

Requirements :

  • Knowledge of healthcare business processes and market trends, with the ability to translate insights into actionable business strategies.

  • Strong communication skills to effectively develop and present insights and recommendations to key stakeholders.

  • Ability to create concise, decision-driven presentations that inform tactical and investment decisions.

  • Ability to perform hands-on analytics across multiple data sources to validate and triangulate insights.

  • Experience working with pharmaceutical/healthcare claims and promotional data.

  • Knowledge of database management systems and modeling languages (Python, SQL), along with expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Knowledge in developing machine learning and descriptive algorithms/modeling using languages such as Python, R, and SQL.

  • Self-motivated, proactive mindset, and ability to work independently.

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, capable of navigating a complex matrix environment.

Preferred (but not required ):

  • Prior hands-on experience working with pharma data (DDD, Patient level data (APLD), EMR/EHR data sets, Lab datasets, prescription datasets (retail/nonretail HCP-Payer-plan-product level data), specialty pharmacy) is preferred.

  • Experience working in Oncology is highly preferred

  • Familiarity with analytical tools such as SQL, Python, Databricks and Dataiku.

Education:

  • Undergraduate degree is required

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

The Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job in certain states and cities within the United States. Expected US salary range:

$85,600.00 - $134,800.00
