Job Details

This position is an internal sales support role which works collaboratively with other Cencora teams to drive continued growth and stronger relationships with new and existing key customers. This role is a critical supporting component to the success of driving services, solutions and technology for customers.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborates with leaders from internal support teams to escalate and resolve issues brought by the commercial leads.
  2. Supports the advancement of solution selling.
  3. Responsible for gathering input and compiling information received from key subject matter experts to create customer-specific responses and proposals.
  4. Manages multiple projects while working under the supervision of management, with close attention to deadlines and the ability to collaborate in a team environment.
  5. Recommends adjustments to internal and external communications based on challenges and successes.
  6. Develops innovative approaches for process improvements.
  7. Oversees the new account setup process, ensuring information collected and entered into systems is accurate, timely, and complete.
  8. Acts as a liaison between the sales team and other internal customers to track and provide updates on operational needs, including contracts, reporting, pricing, and operations.
  9. Keeps abreast of sales force trends; builds rapport with internal stakeholders.
  10. Assists in creating high-level, customized messaging for leadership.
  11. Coordinates tracking and maintains solution sales progression within key accounts.
  12. Assists in updating and maintaining customer scorecards based on services, solutions, and technology.
  13. Gathers, synthesizes, and organizes industry, market, and organizational information.
  14. Assists in creating whiteboarding sessions with key customers.
  15. Supports efforts to align and integrate Cencora's strategic priorities.
Experience and Educational Requirements
  1. Requires training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences, or similar, generally obtained through a four-year Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and education.
  2. Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  3. Advanced skills with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  4. Experience with content management systems is highly preferred.
  5. Requires knowledge of Excel basics such as pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and formulas.
  6. Requires a minimum of four years of directly related and progressively responsible experience.
Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Ability Requirements
  1. An understanding of Cencora's pharmacy operations and current challenges.
  2. Thorough knowledge of Cencora products, programs, and services.
  3. Working knowledge of sales management, sales planning, goal setting, and successful strategic and consultative selling techniques.
  4. Ability to interpret industry trends and develop responsive strategies and tactics.
  5. Advanced skills with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  6. Experience with content management systems is preferred.
  7. Strong organizational and communication skills.
  8. Effective communication skills, both oral and written, for reports and presentations.
  9. Interpersonal skills sufficient to develop and maintain cooperative working and business relationships.
  10. Ability to work proactively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and complex environment, seeking guidance on complex tasks as needed.

Salary Range*

$72,200 - 103,290

*This range reflects a national average; actual compensation may vary based on location. In certain states, ranges may be up to 10% lower or 12% higher than the listed figures.
