This position is an internal sales support role which works collaboratively with other Cencora teams to drive continued growth and stronger relationships with new and existing key customers. This role is a critical supporting component to the success of driving services, solutions, and technology for customers.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with leaders from internal support teams to escalate and resolve issues brought by the commercial leads.
- Supports the advancement of solution selling.
- Responsible for gathering input and compiling information received from key subject matter experts to create customer-specific responses and proposals.
- Manages multiple projects while working under management supervision with attention to deadlines and team collaboration.
- Recommends adjustments to internal and external communications based on challenges and successes.
- Develops innovative approaches for process improvements.
- Oversees the New Account setup process, ensuring information is accurate, timely, and complete.
- Acts as a liaison between the sales team and other internal departments to track and update on operational needs, including contracts, reporting, pricing, and operations.
- Keeps updated on sales trends; builds rapport with internal stakeholders.
- Assists in creating high-level, customized messaging for leadership.
- Helps track and maintain solution sales progression within key accounts.
- Assists in updating and maintaining customer scorecards based on services, solutions, and technology.
- Gathers, synthesizes, and organizes industry, market, and organizational information.
- Supports the creation of whiteboarding sessions with key customers.
- Helps align and integrate Cencora's strategic priorities.
Experience and Educational Requirements
- Training in business administration, sales, marketing, computer sciences, or similar fields, typically obtained through a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience with content management systems preferred.
- Knowledge of Excel functions like pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and formulas.
- Minimum of four years of related, progressively responsible experience.

- Understanding of Cencora's pharmacy operations and challenges.
- Thorough knowledge of Cencora products, programs, and services.
- Knowledge of sales management, planning, goal setting, and strategic selling techniques.
- Ability to interpret industry trends and develop response strategies.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Interpersonal skills to develop and maintain cooperative relationships.
- Ability to work proactively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, seeking guidance on complex tasks as needed.

Salary Range*
$72,200 - 103,290
*This range reflects a national average; actual salaries may vary based on location. In certain states, the range may be up to 10% lower or 12% higher than listed.
