Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking a Senior Business Information Developer Consultant to join our Data Warehouse team in Atlanta. The role combines in-office collaboration 1-2 days per week with remote work to support productivity and work-life balance.

Responsibilities include developing complex data warehouse report applications, setting direction for the team, and mentoring less experienced staff while monitoring schedules and costs across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering (any), or related field.
• Six (6) years of IT experience with Informatica, Oracle, SQL Server, PL/SQL, Teradata, Sybase, Unix, MS Access, MS Visio, MySQL, TOAD Data Point, Cloud Technology, and DevOps Tool: Bitbucket.

Responsibilities

• Undertake complex assignments requiring additional specialized technical knowledge.
• Develop very complex and varied strategic report applications from Data Warehouse.
• Establish and communicate common goal and direction for team.
• Establish and maintain advanced knowledge of Data Warehouse database design, data definitions, system capabilities, and data integrity issues.
• Act as a source of direction, training, and guidance for less experienced staff.
• Monitor project schedules and costs for own and other projects.
• Develop and support very complex Data Warehouse-related applications for business areas requiring design and implementation of database tables.
• Conduct training on use of applications developed.
• Focus on spending time thinking about programming and how it would be used to design solutions.

Business Information Developer Consultant Senior

Location: Ideal candidates will be able to report to our Pulse Point location at 740 W Peachtree Street NW, Atlanta, GA 30308.

This role requires associates to be in-office 1-2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace.

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
