Position Summary

We have one of the largest business immigration practices in the United States; our immigration practice group consists of experienced and dedicated immigration lawyers and paralegals who work with domestic and international corporations and businesses in developing appropriate strategies to facilitate the international transfer of skilled employees.

Position Details
Our Morristown office has an opportunity for an experienced Business Immigration Paralegal to join their fast-paced practice! Under attorney supervision, the paralegal is responsible for preparing and filing NIV and IV visa applications, compiling and analyzing case facts, drafting correspondence, maintaining and organizing client documentation, and communicating directly with multiple attorneys. This is a full-time, onsite position based in Morristown, NJ.

Requirements
  • Degree from an accredited college or university and/or paralegal certification, with a minimum of 2 years of immigration paralegal experience.
  • Knowledge of the NIV (Nonimmigrant Visa) process.
  • Strong writing skills, excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and work independently towards team goals.
  • Outstanding organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Outlook, INSZoom, and document management systems.

Benefits

In accordance with the New Jersey Pay and Benefit Transparency Act, the expected salary range for this New Jersey-based position is between $67,040 and $83,800. Ogletree Deakins offers a comprehensive benefits package including Paid Time Off, Sick Leave, 401(k) matching, Profit Sharing, Holidays, Parental Leave, Health and Life Insurance (including Dental & Vision), HSA/FSA options, Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Assistance Program.
