We are seeking a Paralegal to join our team supporting a high-volume, employment-based immigration practice. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with 1–3 years of business immigration experience who is ready to grow their career in a dynamic, mission-driven law firm.

As a Paralegal, you will work under the direct supervision of senior paralegals, paralegal managers, and attorneys. You will assist in preparing, filing, and tracking complex immigration matters while learning to take ownership of more independent work. This position requires strong writing and analytical skills, attention to detail, and the willingness to put in the effort to learn, grow, and contribute meaningfully to the team.

Note: Only candidates located in the Washington, D.C. area who are willing to work 100% on site will be considered.

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with attorneys, senior paralegals, and team members to support employment-based immigration cases.
  • Draft forms, letters, and basic petition materials with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Monitor case progress and maintain detailed case records.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, including executives and internationally recognized professionals.
  • Demonstrate empathy in client communications while maintaining professionalism.
  • Answer questions from clients and internal team members in accordance with ethical guidelines for paralegals.
  • Utilize our case management systems and productivity tools, including Microsoft Office and ClickUp.
  • Assist in training materials for internal staff and client education.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 1–3 years of business immigration paralegal experience (corporate immigration focus required).
  • Professionalism: Ability to accept feedback, learn quickly, and maintain a high standard of professionalism.
  • Tech Readiness: Comfortable learning new systems; enthusiasm for technology and process improvement.
  • Team Orientation: Positive, reliable, and committed to contributing to a collaborative team culture.
  • Time Management: Able to prioritize effectively, meet deadlines, and manage a high caseload.
  • Client Focus: Understanding of the urgency and stress surrounding immigration processes and commitment to responsive, compassionate service.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit for extended periods, type on a keyboard, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to hear, see, speak clearly, and interact effectively in a standard office setting.
  • Capability to reach, stoop, kneel, or crouch to access files or office materials.
  • Ability to move between floors and work in a moderately noisy office environment.
  • Must be able to remain focused and productive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Requires the ability to manage shifting priorities, strict deadlines, and evolving workloads while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
  • Requires emotional resilience, sound judgment, and the ability to remain composed in high-stress or time-sensitive situations.
  • Paid Time Off: 22 PTO days + 13 holidays
  • Health: Medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance
  • Retirement: 401(k) with profit-sharing
