Job summary

Gibney seeks an associate attorney with 2+ years in business immigration to join the New York office. You will assist with nonimmigrant visa petitions, PERM, I-140 and AOS, and gradually handle a diverse immigration practice. You will support clients and colleagues, stay updated on laws, and contribute to business development in a fast-paced firm environment.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience with all aspects of PERM labor certification in a high-volume practice.
• Experience with IV processes and applications (PERM, I-140, AOS) preferred.
• Strong academic background and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to exceptional client service and building relationships with corporate clients.

Responsibilities

• Assess nonimmigrant visa options and strategies for corporate clients.
• Assist with nonimmigrant, PERM and immigrant matters as needed.
• Collaborate with immigration attorneys and develop business opportunities.
• Stay current with evolving immigration laws and industry trends.
