Job summary

H-E-B is seeking a Business Development Assistant II to support Business Development Managers in pricing, data analysis, and category execution. You will help manage cost and retail data, track performance, and coordinate promotional events and new item launches.

The role requires strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with experience in product information data flow and merchandising systems. Travel and retail environment exposure are common.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in business, merchandising / procurement, or store operations - Required
• Experience in systems, processes, and analysis - Required
• Experience in product information data flow - Required
• Experience in merchandising software systems - Preferred

Responsibilities

• Supports / partially represents BDM
• Ensures products are competitively priced per price image and financial objectives
• Executes pricing strategy for BDM in materials and branding
• Maintains data entry of cost and retail relationships for marketing/merchandising
• Develops templates to track category performance and run reports
• Represents BDM in meetings and notes actions
• Coordinates test sets and supports promotional events
• Drafts communications and presentations
• Assists in assortment decisions and new item placements
