ABB is seeking a Business Financial Analyst for the Electrification Distribution Solutions plant in Mebane, NC. The role focuses on delivering financial insight, benchmarking performance, and driving actions to improve profitability within a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Based in Mebane, NC, you will collaborate with Finance and operations teams to model scenarios, support reporting, and contribute to budgeting and forecasting for the business unit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Business or relevant STEM field required.
• 8+ years of experience in manufacturing industry with strong preference for electrical manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power BI, and SAP FI/CO/MM/PS modules related to manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform analyses of business performance versus budget and forecast, and propose improvement actions.
• Benchmark KPIs with industry competitors to analyze drivers of financial performance.
• Prepare financial modeling for hypotheses and impact on the business unit.
• Support preparation of financial reporting, planning, budgeting and forecasting for the organization.

Each day, you will compile and analyze various relevant metrics, identify trends and problems, and communicate information to relevant groups. You will also showcase your expertise by recommending actions to improve financial performance of a specific business.This is an on-site position based in Mebane, NC.This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions Division in Mebane, North Carolina.
