Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Business Finance Controller (Deployment) to shape supply chain finance across U.S. and Latin America.

Based in Nashville, TN or Monterrey, MX, you will develop business cases and govern project financials, partnering with Plant Finance, PMs, and accounting to deliver accurate evaluations and insights. You will influence senior leadership with KPIs such as NPV, IRR, CAGR while driving optimization of capital deployment and asset returns in a complex industrial

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related degree.
  • 7+ years of experience in a Finance, Accounting role or related field.
  • Project management experience preferred.
  • Effective communication and engagement with all levels of the organization, verbally and in writing, with the ability to build effective partnerships across teams.
  • Demonstrate strong ability to work with and influence others not within direct reporting relationship.
  • Proactively supports peers to promote knowledge-sharing, collaboration, teamwork, and personal development.
  • Deep understanding and application of metrics such as cost, cash flows, margin, and related financial KPIs (NPV, IRR, CAGR, etc.)
  • Demonstrated leadership
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Proficient in Excel and data management tools, especially Tableau and SQL (VBA, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive and financially sound business cases for evaluation and approval – through partnership with project managers.
  • Drive governance and control for project execution, supporting the delivery of financial expectations, highlighting gaps as they develop.
  • Provide holistic view of complex strategic movements within their responsible Business Unit, animating the financial impacts of projects in scope for those Business units.
  • Partner with a wide array of business partners, ranging from Plant Finance Business partners, project managers, accounting, and business unit Finance Business Partners, to deliver accurate project financial evaluations and clear communication of impacts.

Job description

Schneider Electric has a hybrid opportunity for a Business Finance Controller (Deployment) to be based in one of the following Schneider Electric Hub locations: Nashville, TN or Monterrey, MX.

The mission of the Deployment Controller is to provide the financial analysis and partnership to shape the supply chain of the future to better serve our customers. This role will work across cross functional teams to support long term industrial planning, ensuring proper deployment of capital and return on assets, and work to establish critical business continuity plans as part of the global initiative to build a more resilient supply chain. Specifically, this role will support the Home & Distribution Line of Business & Contract Manufacturing Strategy.

The ideal candidate will bring business case evaluation expertise, strong business partnering skillset, and financial acumen needed to challenge and promote accurate and successful business cases. This role will have high exposure to senior leadership and provide valuable insights to influence decision making that will have impacts for years to come. The future leader in this position will have tremendous opportunities to impact the transformation of Schneider Electric’s supply chain, develop a deep understanding of the industrial footprint and grow an extended network of regional and global connections.

What will you do?

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 117,600 - USD 176,400 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
