Job summary

RXinsider LTD. is offering an eight-week internship program from May 31 to July 23. The position is hourly/non-exempt and will involve supporting multiple departments, including HR, quality, customer service, purchasing, and accounting, on site.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a business-related degree with strong communication, reliability, and teamwork skills, and can provide college transcripts. The program emphasizes learning, collaboration, and practical experience across the facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist across Human Resources, Quality, Customer Service, Purchasing, Inventory, and Manufacturing processes.
• Support accounting functions: GL, AP, AR and tax processes as needed.
• Participate in on-site operational activities including sales, marketing, and maintenance tasks.
• Help maintain inventory accuracy and respond to customer requests in a timely manner.

Primary Function

The Intern program is an eight (8) week program and will run May 31st – July 23rd.

Program Will Include The Following

• Human Resources – Interview process, onboarding, conflict resolution
• Quality – Processes and government requirements and regulations
• Customer service – Overview of what HCL sells and Customer request
• Purchasing – Replenishing inventory and purchasing goods and services
• Resources – Fulfilling Customer request for special items
• Manufacturing – Plastics, Metals, Cabinets and Labels
• Distribution – Pick Pack, Receiving, Shipping
• Inventory Control – Flow and Maintaining inventory
• Product Development – New ideas and how they are developed to sellable products
• Maintenance – General maintenance for facility upkeep
• Sales – Customer calls, site visit and Quarterly Sales Meeting
• Accounting – General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Sales Tax
• Marketing – Digital Design, Catalogue prepping and updates
• TS – Overview and Stat Temp process

Requirements

• Enrolled/Attending college and working towards a degree in a Business-related field. Must be able to provide college transcripts
• Good attendance and punctuality (As defined in the HCL Handbook)
• Ability to express ideas clearly in both written and oral communications.
• Goal oriented
• Working knowledge of accepted office procedures.
• Efficient uses of company resources including e-mail, voice mail, etc.
