CompuNet is seeking a Business Development Specialist - Microsoft to join our team. This position is a global technical sales role which will report to the Managing Lead, Business Development Specialist, Microsoft. This is a salaried position that is eligible for commissions, profit share and benefits. This role can be based out of any existing CompuNet location.
The Business Development Specialist – Microsoft (BDS-ML-MSFT) requires industry-specific knowledge related to Microsoft services, products, and licensing. As industry focus has shifted to consumption-based services and subscription services, it is apparent that a good understanding of these sales motions is required to be effective in this ever-changing market. This role would need to be proficient in the Microsoft Portfolio and able to set the stage for selling services in partnership with the Microsoft offering. Understanding this offering will be key and will provide focus on growth through identifying pipeline, advising customers, and driving outcomes with CompuNet Sales, Engineering as well as Microsoft teams.
This role is designed to focus on driving the following:
The Business Development Specialist - Microsoft role requires extensive knowledge of the Microsoft and CompuNet sales methodology, and the ability to develop relationships both in person and virtually. Specifically, the Business Development Specialist - Microsoft must be proficient in Licensing and Programs, Sales Enablement/Support, and extensive technical selling skills. This role requires current understanding on how to position both Azure and Microsoft Apps for Enterprise (M365) as well as the associated ecosystem of complimentary products appropriate to CompuNet customers.
Also important will be to create relationships, joint strategy and accountability with the leadership and contributors in assigned regions of CompuNet.
