Overview

The Business Development Specialist will support various initiatives including developing new accounts and growing existing ones. This role involves direct communication with clients and leading growth initiatives. If you're passionate about connecting patients with specialized neurorehabilitation, this is the career for you!

Responsibilities
  • Perform business development activities, including calling on potential key accounts in healthcare.
  • Maintain high achievement levels in business development, evidenced by growth in referrals.
  • Communicate with healthcare clients to explain services based on their needs.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies for each referral source, monitor market trends and competitors.
  • Identify high-value accounts and prepare sales and marketing plans in collaboration with leadership.
  • Visit potential clients such as hospitals, payers, families, and physicians to promote programs.
  • Organize local marketing events with leadership to educate consumers.
  • Attend industry trade shows and conferences, prepare promotional materials.
  • Update company database regularly with account contacts and activities.
  • Collaborate with operational and clinical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in sales team meetings and coaching sessions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of brand development and sales experience with a proven track record.
  • Neuro rehabilitation licensed clinicians (Physical, Occupational, Speech, Recreational Therapist, Social Worker) considered in lieu of experience.
  • Experience in rehab services, healthcare, or medical sales preferred.
  • Excellent communication, professionalism, and customer focus.
  • Strategic planning and business development knowledge at an executive level.
  • Self-motivated, creative thinking skills.
  • Travel required: 25-75%.
