DuGood Federal Credit Union in Beaumont, TX is seeking a Business Development Specialist to help grow our presence in the communities we serve, with a focus on school campus branches. You will lead financial education programs, campus partnerships, and outreach initiatives to promote membership growth and brand awareness.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, marketing, or community engagement.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and project coordination skills.

Position: Business Development Specialist

We're growing and looking for a Business Development Specialist to join team DuGood!

What you’ll do:

In this role, you’ll help grow DuGood’s presence in the communities we serve, with a primary focus on our school campus branches. From financial education and campus partnerships to marketing initiatives and membership growth, you’ll play an important role in connecting people with our credit union.

You’ll also:

• Lead development and coordination of financial education programs, workshops, and outreach initiatives for students, schools, and community partners.
• Build and maintain relationships with campus leadership, educators, students, community organizations, and local businesses.
• Identify and pursue business development opportunities that increase brand awareness, strengthen partnerships, and support membership growth.
• Develop and execute marketing and promotional initiatives in collaboration with internal teams.
• Plan, coordinate, and participate in campus events, community activities, presentations, and outreach opportunities.
• Provide direction and support to student ambassadors in marketing, financial education, and campus engagement activities.
• Collaborate with branch personnel to identify membership opportunities, promote products and services, and support growth and retention goals.
• Monitor program participation, engagement, and membership growth to evaluate effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, marketing, community engagement, relationship management, financial education, or a related area.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and build lasting relationships.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to develop and implement marketing, outreach, and business development initiatives.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and relationship building skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital communication tools with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Willingness to travel to off-site locations and occasionally work evenings or weekends to support business activities.

Even better if you have:

• Experience in financial services, educational institutions, or community-based organizations.
• Experience coordinating programs, leading projects, or providing guidance to team members.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, social media management platforms, or video recording and editing tools.
• Experience facilitating workshops, delivering presentations, or coordinating community outreach initiatives.
