Bridgeway Partners, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Business Development Representative to learn how to prospect, develop a territory, influence decision-makers and manage high-level business relationships.

This is not an entry-level job designed to be easy. It is an entry-level opportunity designed to make you valuable.
If you are early in your career and want to learn how to sell, prospect, develop a territory, influence decision-makers and manage high-level business relationships, professional search is an unusually strong place to start.
Professional search sits at the intersection of sales, consulting, talent and business strategy.
Companies spend heavily to find the right people because few decisions affect a business more than who it hires.
At the same time, many of the best candidates are not actively applying for jobs.
Our job is to help companies access the entire talent market—and help successful professionals discover opportunities they might never find on their own.
AI will make research, organization, market intelligence and communication dramatically more efficient. We intend to leverage it aggressively.
But technology cannot replace the human side of this business: trust, judgment, influence, curiosity, communication and the ability to persuade someone to consider change.
Bridgeway Partners is entering its 21st year.
We offer the stability and proven operating practices of an established company combined with the ambition of a growth business entering its next chapter.
Our objective is straightforward: Double Bridgeway's revenue by 2030.
That means developing new markets, improving our technology, building better systems and developing the next generation of sales professionals.
You’ll learn alongside experienced professionals, including some exceptionally high-producing partners within the professional search industry.
We are not a volume recruiting operation. Our focus is providing a high-quality professional search service and developing long-term relationships with the companies we serve.
Think of your first 18–24 months as a paid MBA in sales, business development and professional services.
Your first several months will be intense.
You’ll learn how to:
There is no shortcut around this stage.
As your skills grow, you’ll begin managing assigned companies and relationships.
You’ll learn how businesses operate, how hiring needs develop and how to become relevant to decision-makers before they necessarily have an immediate need.
The objective shifts from simply making calls to building a market.
You’ll begin participating in higher-level conversations with executives.
You’ll learn discovery, presentation, negotiation, problem diagnosis, relationship management and how to sell a sophisticated professional service.
Our goal is that within approximately 18–24 months, you are developing the skills required to operate as an Account Executive, Search Consultant or other high-level sales professional.
We care more about ambition, curiosity and coachability than a polished résumé.
You should be willing to talk to people you don't know.
You should be able to hear “no” repeatedly without allowing it to affect your effort.
You should want to understand how businesses work.
You should be comfortable being coached, measured and held accountable.
And you should want to become exceptionally good at something.
The investment required here isn't financial.
It's effort.
Repetition. Rejection. Practice. Preparation. Coaching. Accountability.
We will invest heavily in teaching you. We expect you to invest heavily in yourself.
If you want to see how commercially capable you can become, we'd like to meet you.
