The Opportunity:
HCHB is going through an exciting time of rapid market and product expansion, and to support that growth we are looking for a Business Development Rep to join our Inside Sales team.
This position is key to achieving our ambitious revenue goals by supporting lead conversion, focused on the front end of the sales process, qualifying inbound leads and conducting outbound prospecting to fill the sales pipeline.
We are looking for engaged, energetic individuals who are able to independently take a project from start to end. We are looking for someone interested in analysis and performance metrics and who can multitask various projects simultaneously.
What You Will Do:
- Drive top-of-the-funnel lead generation via cold calling, emailing, social media/Linkedin and market research
- Conduct discovery calls and initial demos with prospects to gather prescribed, key information, and determine level of interest to move prospect further down the sales cycle using a BANT process.
- Coordinate with the sales team to ensure smooth hand off of SQLs to sales and support the continued sales process as needed
- Update and manage all activities, opportunities, and account information in Salesforce.com – including researching target agencies and identifying key influencers and decision-makers.
- Consistently achieve a monthly quota of qualified calls/meetings and pipeline progression metrics.
- Assist lead gen team in weekly/monthly/quarterly data readiness projects inside of of Salesforce to ensure a solid database for outreach
- Assist with marketing and PR to promote HCHB before, during, and after each trade show or event, and interact with prospects at events, gather information from prospects about needs/requirements and capture leads. Trade Show & Event Travel includes 15-20 shows per year, or the equivalent of traveling about 2x per month for 2-3 days per trip.
What You Will Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in business/related field AND at least 1.5+ years’ of relevant work experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a willingness to learn product details and selling proposition of a variety of HCHB products
- Ability to multitask, synthesize new product information into sales pitches, and work both independently and in a team environment
- Comfort in using or learning tools such as; Salesforce, Salesloft, Engage, Pardot, Klenty, LinkedIn, and other tools to assist in lead development.
- Ability to travel and help with set-up and tear down of small trade show materials
