Turn this role into an interview — a resume and cover letter built around what this employer wants.
Aerovy Mobility, Inc. is hiring a Business Development Representative in Atlanta to own outbound prospecting for a 120-account named list and to support the CEO’s pipeline. You’ll craft crisp emails, secure qualified meetings, and move deals through the process with precise follow-ups.
You’ll engage VP-level aftermarket stakeholders, collaborate with marketing, and travel to conferences and customer sites as needed to close enterprise opportunities.
Aerovy is the operating layer for hardware OEMs. We take the signals coming off equipment in mobility, industrial, material handling, and construction, and normalize them into one model for assets, components, health, and events that holds across brands and model years.

With Aerovy, OEMs:
We're a fast-paced startup building the digital infrastructure for the next generation of intelligent hardware. Founded in 2023 as a spinoff of research from Purdue University, we've grown from 5 full-time workers at the end of 2025 to 13 today, with ARR up 4x+ over the same period. We're backed by institutional VCs from Mudita Venture Partners, M25, Quorum Capital Partners, Knoll Ventures, and Purdue Ventures, and angels from Google, Tesla, Intel, Siemens +more.
As the first Business Development Representative at Aerovy, you’ll report directly to the CEO. The job has two halves. The first is outbound: working the 120-account named list to find the right person at the right OEM and get them into a qualified first meeting. The second is pipeline support: the CEO is personally carrying live enterprise deals, and you make sure none of them stall. Follow-ups go out on time, next steps get booked, HubSpot reflects reality, and conference meetings are on the calendar before we land.
Most BDR seats stop at the meeting. This one doesn’t. You stay on a deal through close. We’re looking for someone who treats a VP of Aftermarket’s calendar as a puzzle to solve, writes a clean email, and would rather own a number than a task list.
Compensation Range: $55K - $80K
