Farmers Insurance Northwest District seeks a motivated Business Development Representative to join our team. You will participate in a structured 12-month Agency Mentorship Program, learn agency operations, marketing, and sales, and gain hands-on leadership experience.

Starting in this role, you’ll build client networks, manage the sales pipeline, and progress toward running your own Farmers agency, with licensing support and a potential ownership pathway.

Qualifications

• Active or ability to obtain Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses (fully-paid by Farmers)
• Proficiency in Communication and excellent Customer Service skills
• Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a hybrid environment

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through outbound prospecting, networking, and community engagement
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive retention and referrals
• Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance products and coverage options
• Follow up on leads quickly and consistently to move prospects through the sales pipeline
• Prepare quotes, present solutions, and close sales to meet production goals
